This group, hosted by Max Bowen LCPC, will explore the intersection of western psychological growth models and dharma practice, both to support therapists in their own dharma practice, as well as their work with clients. It will initially take the form of a book study, using John Welwood’s book, Toward a Psychology of Awakening: Buddhism, Psychotherapy, and the Path of Personal and Spiritual Transformation. Subsequent sessions may cover other topics offered by group members.
